Clinical indices are expressed as mean ± standard deviation. Participants in group A received a bread with N. sativa and in group B received a bread without N. sativa. AB presents the group who consumed firstly bread with N. sativa and after bread without it and BA presents the group who consumed firstly bread without N. sativa and after bread with it.

BMI, body mass index; WC, waist circumference; SBP, systolic blood pressure; DBP, diastolic blood pressure; FBG, fasting blood glucose; PRE, the beginning of phase; POST, the end of phase.
